The following Ordinance was introduced by Dawson who moved for its adoption and was seconded by Ezernack:
AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING A CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS PROGRAM FOR THE CITY OF MONROE AND PROVIDING FOR A DETAILED STATEMENT OF THE CONTENTS FOR A FIVE (5) YEAR PERIOD FROM MAY 1, 2022 TO APRIL 30, 2027.
SECTION 1. BE IT ORDAINED, by the City Council of the City of Monroe, Louisiana, in legal session convened, that after public hearing, the Capital Improvements as detailed in the attached document, which I made a part hereof, be and the same is hereby adopted as the City of Monroe Capital Improvements Program for May 1, 2022 to April 30, 2027.
SECTION 2. BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, that the first year of the program shall be the
Capital Budget for the City of Monroe for the year May 1, 2022 to April 30, 2023.
This Ordinance was INTRODUCED on the 22nd day of March, 2022.
NOTICE PUBLISHED on March 25th and April 1st, 2022.
This ordinance having been submitted in writing, introduced, and published was then submitted to a final vote as a whole, the vote thereon being as follows:
AYES: Harvey, Ezernack, Woods, Marshall & Dawson
NAYS: None.
ABSENT: None.
And the Ordinance was declared ADOPTED on the 12th day of April, 2022.
