CITY OF MONROE                                                                                               

 

The following Ordinance was introduced by  Harvey                   , who moved for its adoption and was seconded by  Ezernack               :

 

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 25 SECTION 64 OF THE MONROE CITY CODE ENTITLED PARKS, RECREATION, AND BOATING AND FURTHER PROVIDING WITH RESPECT THERETO:

            WHEREAS, the current Monroe City Code of Ordinances contains Chapter 25 Section 64 entitled “General fees and charges;”

 

            WHEREAS, Chapter 25 Section 64 entitled “General fees and charges” needs to be amended to remove the Aquatics fee for youth and adult admission; and

 

            WHEREAS, there shall no longer be a fee charged for admission to the City of Monroe pools.

 

            NOW THEREFORE, it is hereby ordained that Chapter 25 Section 64 entitled “General fees and charges” of the Monroe City Code is hereby amended and enacted to remove the Aquatics fee as follows:

            This Ordinance was introduced on the  14th          day of  June             , 2022.

 

            Notice published on the  17th            day of  June               , 2022.

 

This Ordinance having been submitted in writing, introduced and published, was then submitted to a vote as a whole, the vote thereon being as follows:

 

AYES:            Harvey, Ezernack, Woods, Marshall & Dawson

NAYS:            None.

ABSENT:      None.

 

 

And the Ordinance was declared ADOPTED on the  28th     day of  June               , 2022.
