ORDINANCE

STATE OF LOUISIANA

CITY OF MONROE                                                                                    NO.  11,985               

            The following Ordinance was introduced by  Ezernack                    who moved for its adoption and was seconded by  Harvey              :

AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING JAMES E. MAYO, MAYOR TO ENTER INTO A LEASE PURCHASE AGREEMENT WITH JPMORGAN CHASE BANK FOR FIRE DEPARMENT VEHICLES AND FURTHER PROVIDING WITH RESPECT THERETO.  

            WHEREAS,  the City of Monroe has determined that is necessary to purchase fire department vehicles;

             WHEREAS,  JP Morgan Chase Bank has presented a proposal for the lease purchase of said vehicles, the terms and conditions being attached hereto as Exhibit “A”.

NOW, THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED  by the City Council of the City of Monroe, Louisiana, in legal session convened, that James E. Mayo, Mayor is hereby authorized to execute the attached Lease Purchase Agreement with JP Morgan Chase Bank to purchase fire department vehicles.

This Ordinance was  INTRODCED on the  10th       day of  March                        , 2020.

            NOTICE PUBLISED on the  13th          day of  March       , 2020.

            This Ordinance, having been submitted in writing, introduced and published ,was then submitted to a vote as a whole, the vote thereon being as follows:

AYES:             Harvey, Ezernack, Woods & Wilson

NAYS:            None.

ABSENT:       Clark

And the Ordinance was declared adopted on the  24th           day of  March              , 2020.
