The following Ordinance was offered by Mr. Wilson who moved for its adoption and was seconded by Ms. Woods :
AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING AND AMENDING THE ZONING MAP FOR THE CITY OF MONROE, LOUISIANA

WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Monroe has held its Public Hearing with respect to the following proposed Zoning Map Amendment, to-wit:
An amendment to the Zoning Map to zone a ±5.0-acre tract of land presently located in Ouachita Parish from B-1, Neighborhood Mixed Use District to RMH, Manufactured Home District and is more particularly described as follows:
3401 Harvester Drive
APPLICANT: Stapleton & Chisholm (MA 105-19)
WHEREAS, the City Council has further considered the report of the Monroe Planning Commission recommending approval, on a 4-0-1 vote. The property is zoned B-1, Neighborhood Mixed-Use District. The applicants would like to operate the property as a manufactured home park but the B-1, Neighborhood Mixed Use District does not allow for this use. The proposed zoning request of RMH, Manufactured Home District is the appropriate classification for a manufactured home park.
NOW, THEREFORE:
BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Monroe, Louisiana in legal session convened that the Zoning Map of the City of Monroe and the boundaries thereof which map is described in Section 37-34 of the City of Monroe Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance and which map shown the Zoning Districts and Boundaries thereof, be and the same are hereby amended to zone the ±5.0 acres previously described to RMH, Manufacture Home District as shown on the map which is attached hereto and made a part thereof and which is adopted as the new Zoning Map of the City of Monroe.
This ordinance was INTRODUCED on the 11th day of June 2019.
NOTICE PUBLISHED on the 14th, 17th & 19th day of June , 2019.
This Ordinance having been submitted in writing, introduced and published was then submitted to a final vote as a whole, the vote thereon being as follows:
AYES: Echols, Ezernack, Woods, Wilson & Clark
NAYS: None.
ABSENT: None.
And the Ordinance was declared ADOPTED on the 25th day of June , 2019.
