The following Ordinance was offered by Mrs. Ezernack who moved for its adoption and was seconded by Mr. Wilson :
AN ORDINANCE DEDICATING THREE (3) STREET RIGHT-OF-WAYS. A 67’ x 629’, MORE OR LESS, STREET RIGHT-OF-WAY - EXTENSION OF CAVELL STREET; 63’ X 292’, MORE OR LESS, STREET RIGHT-OF-WAY – CAMDEN WALK AND A 63’ X 506’, MORE OR LESS, STREET RIGHT-OF-WAY) – CORK STREET WITHIN PHASE 1B OF THE CENTURY VILLAGE PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT AND FURTHER PROVIDING WITH RESPECT THERETO:
WHEREAS, Southern Lifestyle Development has requested the dedication of three (3) street rights-of-way: a 67’ x 629’, more or less, street right-of-way - Extension of Cavell Street; a 63’ x 292’, more or less, street right-of-way – Camden Walk; and a 63’ x 506’, more or less, street right-of-way – Cork Street within Phase 1b of the Century Village Planned Unit Development, and
WHEREAS, the City of Monroe Engineering Department has inspected said street rights-of-way (Extension of Cavell Street, Camden Walk and Cork Street), and stipulates that all improvements meet the City’s standards.
NOW, THEREFORE
BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Monroe, in legal session convened, that three (3) street rights-of-way: a 67’ x 629’, more or less, street right-of-way - Extension of Cavell Street; a 63’ x 292’, more or less, street right-of-way – Camden Walk; and a 63’ x 506’, more or less, street right-of-way – Cork Street within Phase 1b of the Century Village Planned Unit Development, is hereby dedicated for the ordinary use of the public.
BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED,
This ordinance was INTRODUCED on the 13th day of November 2018.
NOTICE PUBLISHED on the 16th day of November , 2018.
This Ordinance having been submitted in writing, introduced and published was then submitted to a final vote, the vote thereon being as follows:
AYES: Echols, Ezernack, Woods & Wilson
NAYS: None.
ABSENT: Clark
And the Ordinance was declared ADOPTED on the 27th day of November , 2018.
