Public Hearing

On May 19, 2022, from 5:15 – 6:30 p.m., the City of Monroe’s Planning & Urban Development Department –Community Development Office will host a public hearing at the Public Safety Center, 1810 Martin Luther King Jr. Drive, Monroe, LA 71202 to discuss planned projects and activities to be funded with FY 2022 entitlement dollars for the allocation of Community Development Block Grant Funds (CDBG), HOME Investment Partnerships funds (HOME) and HOMEAmerican Rescue Plan (ARP).
Comments and recommendations will be received based on the planned use of funds for eligible activities based on the unmet needs of the qualifying populations and submitted to HUD through its Annual Action Plan process. Comment & recommendations will be received from the public from May 20 – June 20, 2022, and can be mailed to P.O. Box 123 Community Development Division Monroe, LA71210-0123 or emailed to communitydev@ci.monroe.la.us.
