STATE OF LOUISIANA

CITY OF MONROE                                                                                    NO. 12,116                

 

The following Ordinance was introduced by Mrs.  Dawson                         who moved for its adoption and was seconded by Ms.  Woods                  :

 

AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING A LEASE AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF MONROE AND DRP MASONRY LLC, FOR THE LEASE OF A PORTION OF A CITY OWNED PARKING LOT AND FURTHER PROVIDING WITH RESPECT THERETO:___________________________________________________________________

 

            WHEREAS, DRP Masonry LLC desires to lease a portion of a parking lot located between North 3rd St. and North 4th Street owned by the City of Monroe; and

 

            WHEREAS, Appraisal Consultants, LLC prepared an appraisal dated March 20, 2022, with the appraised rental value at $500.00.  A copy of a portion of the appraisal is attached hereto.

 

            BE IT ORDAINED, by the City Council of the City of Monroe, in legal session convened, that Stacey Rowell, Director of Administration, be and she is hereby authorized and empowered for and on behalf of the City of Monroe, Louisiana, to enter into and execute a Lease Agreement between the City of Monroe and DRP Masonry LLC, a copy of said Lease setting forth the terms and conditions thereof attached hereto and make a part hereof.

 

This Ordinance was introduced on the  12th     day of  April            , 2022.

 

            Notice published on the  18th        day of  April                    , 2022.

 

This Ordinance having been submitted in writing, introduced and published, was then submitted to a vote as a whole, the vote thereon being as follows:

 

AYES:            Woods, Marshall & Dawson

 

NAYS:            None.

 

ABSENT:      Harvey, Ezernack

 

And the Ordinance was declared ADOPTED on  26th          day of  April               , 2022.
