CITY OF MONROE NO. 11,940
The following Ordinance was introduced by Mrs. Ezernack , who moved for its adoption and was seconded by Ms. Woods :
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE DONATION OF IMMOVABLE PROPERTY AND GRANT OF UTILITY EASEMENTS INTO THE CITY OF MONROE FROM G & J INVESTMENTS OF OUACHITA LLC, AND FURTHER PROVIDING WITH RESPECT THERETO
WHEREAS, G & J Investments of Ouachita, LLC, represented by Gus L. Campbell, Jr., desires to grant and donate all of its right, title and interest in that certain parcel of real estate described hereinbelow by an Act of Donation of Immovable Property, attached hereto and made a part hereof, said property being described to-wit:
Pumping Station Site on Parcel 3-2 as described on Exhibit “A” attached hereto.
UTILITY EASEMENTS
Grantor also grants to Grantee perpetual utility easements on each of the following designated as:
20’ Utility Servitude on Parcel 3-2-U-1 described on
Exhibit “B” attached hereto;
20’ Utility Servitude on Parcel 3-2-U-2 described on
Exhibit “C” attached hereto;
10’ Utility Servitude on Parcel 3-2-U-3 described on
Exhibit “D” attached hereto.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Monroe, Louisiana, in legal session convened, that the Act of Donation of Immovable Property and Grant of Utility Easements by G & J Investments of Ouachita LLC to the City of Monroe in that certain parcel of real estate described above to be and the same are hereby accepted.
BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED that James E. Mayo, Mayor, be and he is hereby duly authorized to accept this Donation on behalf of the City of Monroe.
This Ordinance was introduced on the 11th day of June 2019.
NOTICE PUBLISHED on the 14th day of June , 2019.
This Ordinance having been submitted in writing, introduced and published was then submitted to a final vote as a whole, the vote thereon being as follows:
AYES: Echols, Ezernack, Woods, Wilson & Clark
NAYS: None.
ABSENT: None.
And the Ordinance was declared ADOPTED on the 25th day of June , 2019.
