5:30 – 8:30 at the Masur Museum of Art.
Proudly presented by the Masur Museum of Art and
Marsala Beverage.

Food trucks, art vendors, wine and beer, live music, and more
information to come soon. This year food trucks include Albert’s Rolling Smoked BBQ and

Skinny Phil’s Food Truck (serving tacos). As of press time art vendors include Alyssa Guidry, Todd Maggio, Mike Allen, and Liz Zanca, who is also doing a live art demonstration. Live music to be provided by Jesse Grinter and Arthur Stewart. Come one come all to the most fun pARTy of the year! FREE to attend. Bring I.D. and money for food trucks and vendors.

Annual juried competition

Now until October 13: 55th Annual Juried Competition

Tuesday – Friday, 9:00 – 5:00 & Saturday, noon – 5:00 at the Masur Museum of Art.

Join us for the exhibition of the 55th Annual Juried Competition! This exhibit showcases contemporary artists throughout the United States of America working in any medium. This long running juried competition also showcases some of America’s best curatorial talent. This year’s juror is Joel Parsons, Director of Clough-Hanson Gallery at Rhodes College and Assistant Professor in the department of Art and Art History. FREE Admission!

Curated by the Masur Museum and on view at the airport, we present Acts of Faith: Selections from the Will and Cheryl Sutton Collection. FREE Admission

October 13: Black Bayou Fall Celebration

10:00 – 3:00 at Black Bayou Lake National Wildlife Refuge
Join us at this fall celebration for a special children’s drop-in activity. Kids of all ages can participate in an art project put on by the Masur Museum, along with tons of other activities.

October 20: Pumpkin Fest

10:00 – 3:00 at Kiroli Park in West Monroe
Join us at this family friendly fest for a fall themed kid’s art activity for children of all ages!

October 27: Boo at the Zoo

10:00 – 3:00 at the Louisiana Purchase Gardens and Zoo
A Halloween themed fun-filled event. Children will make their own spooky clay creations and will see a live Raku pottery firing as well!
