INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY (IT)
The Information Technology Division is committed to embracing technology at a rapid pace as we pursue our goal of serving the business operations of the City of Monroe by providing enterprise-wide integrated system solutions and high-quality end-user service.
Information Technology is responsible for delivering quality services in the areas of systems support, hardware and software, help desk support, network operations, purchasing equipment, and business systems analysis. The IT Division provides customer service for all the city’s user departments. Our IT Division is constantly upgrading computer software and hardware to keep up with the latest technology. The IT Division’s help desk is manned by a competent staff and is supported by local college students working in our intern program.
