Notice of Map Amendment – Rezone a ±0.72-acre tract of land

PUBLIC NOTICE

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a public hearing will be held by the City Council of the City of Monroe, Louisiana, on the 14th  day of  March , 2023 in the Council Chamber, City Hall Building, beginning at 6:00 p.m., to consider the following proposed amendment to the Zoning Map:

An amendment to the Zoning Map to rezone a ±0.72-acre tract of land, from being B-3 (General Business/Commercial) District to the R-4 (High Density Multi-Family Residence) District, for the applicant to use the existing building as a residence, at 1814 Jackson Street. Lot 3, 5 & 6, Square 20, Ouachita Cotton Mills 1st Addition & Portion of an alley revoked Bk 1635-189

APPLICANT: Carday Marshall (MA 100-23)

All interested parties are invited to attend and be heard.  The proposed changes to the Zoning Map are on file and open to the inspection of the public in the office of the Monroe Ouachita Regional Planning Commission, City Hall Annex, 3901 Jackson Street, Monroe, Louisiana.
